This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I have been working with a group of girls to teach them how to play volleyball. We have been going over all the fundamentals, teamwork and how volleyball can provide them with great high school and college opportunities. I would like to provide them with proper work out attire so that they are not sliding on the floor in the shoes they are wearing and give them jersey tops so that they look like a team. Knee pads are essential when playing volleyball and the gym equipment would help with passing the ball to the target. Volleyball was a positive avenue for me as a child and I am trying to give these young ladies the same opportunity.
