My Students
I have a very special group of students. My students come from disadvantaged homes and communities, yet, they still show up to school ready to learn. Even when the odds seem to be against them, they continue to work hard.
Our school serves students in grades Pre-K through 5th and many come from families who are not exposed to arts and crafts.
Our Pre-K classes operate just as a Kindergarten class would. They are hard workers and deserve the best. My students are destined for greatness!
My Project
We are a project based learning campus where our students are responsible for authentic work samples. Our goal is to have all the materials students need ready and available daily.
Since I do not have any assistance in the classroom, the Cricut Explore Air 2 will allow me to maximize instructional time.
As 4 and 5 year olds, their fine motor skills are still developing, so cutting these materials for the 23 students I have can be very time consuming. The use of the Cricut Explore Air 2 in the classroom will allow students who struggle academically, socially, and behaviorally to express themselves through various fine art oppourtunities.
