My Project
Having a Cricut for my classroom would mean so much to me and my students. It would save us time, allow us to cut complicated shapes and designs for art projects, and also help us with labeling around the art room, and learning organization.
I have a dream to have students design a template that can be transferred to the Cricut for cutting.
Then, I will teach them how to apply the vinyl to the wood panels I already have. The technique of stenciling is something that I haven't taught yet this year, and it's a valuable skill. Each student will make a keepsake piece for themselves or their family. My students would learn more about technology while helping me use this Cricut. The creative possibilities with this machine are endless!
Another important note about designing personalizations is that representing a child's own name is something very special to them. It makes them feel important and valued, which is something we need more of in this day and age.
