My Students

My students are amazing human beings on the cusp of taking the world into their hands. Even though we live in an impoverished, rural area, these students take success very seriously, and most aim to be college bound. The students in my classroom are also sometimes reluctant readers, but with a little help and a lot of love, I aim to turn them into literary connoisseurs or at very least a group of youths who enjoy reading and see its necessity.

My Project

These materials are fundamental and basic supplies that my classroom needs. I like to bridge the gap between art and education by having my students make artistic interpretations of literature. These supplies will help with that endeavor. Scissors and poster board will allow my students to have access to supplies that they need. Sometimes my students cannot afford to have art supplies at home or cannot get transportation to purchase needed things. Having these supplies on hand will help tremendously! Therefore, I have great hopes that through your donation, I will be able to have on hand supplies that my students can use to drive their success.
