This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box. They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!
My students are elementary-aged children who attend an NYC Title I public school.
Our Pre-k 3 Learners come to school every day with a love for learning and playing. They wake up with a passion to come to school and enjoy learning through hands-on activities.
My Project
The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! The Ellison cut-out machine will be accessed only by our teachers, to create cutouts for our everyday art activities, instead of constantly purchasing cutouts for every holiday, face, shapes, letters, and numbers. Ellison creates great cut-out dies to be used with this machine.
The donations will help this project reduce time in cutting each and every single shape, letter, face, hand, and cutout in a matter of seconds!
