My Students
My kindergartners are eager and ready for newer technology in the classroom. American engineer and inventor Dean Kamen said, "...A new technology, an old problem, and a big idea turn into an innovation."
I am a teacher at a Title I school.
My students qualify to receive a free breakfast and lunch, these meals often being the only food they eat all day. Despite this, I strive to create a safe, stimulating environment and want to provide them with as many opportunities as possible to succeed. My students are hard workers and they absolutely love to learn.
My Project
I teach at a Title I school, where many of my students often do not have clean clothes to wear and also qualify for a free lunch. Despite these circumstances, my students are hard workers and absolutely love to learn, especially through technology. In my classroom, we are blessed to be able to use iPads every day - unfortunately, many students cannot focus or concentrate due to noise level from other iPads. During small group time, the students I am working with are distracted by the noise and find it difficult to learn. Please help create a better learning environment by donating towards a class set of headphones!
