This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are curious creators who love to turn their ideas into real things. Whether they’re imagining a robot, a race car, or a cardboard castle, they’re full of creativity and excitement. But cutting thick cardboard with regular scissors is tough—and not always safe for little hands.

With Chomp saw, students can safely cut cardboard and soft materials to bring their ideas to life.

These kid-friendly tools are specially designed to be safe, easy to use, and perfect for classroom makers. Currently, I have to do all the cutting for the younger students but this tool would change that. It can be used as young as kindergarten and is safe for them to design with.
