This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year I will be working with students who are struggling to meet their grade level standards potentially due to a language deficiency. Every student learns English at their own level based on many factors, and together we can certainly not only support their English language learning, but also their native language literacy and their grade level content goals!

I want to make our interventions fun; please help provide my EL students with simple but special tools to improve their learning!

With these individual journals, every student can practice their writing skills at home and in the classroom, stickers will allow me to celebrate their growth and low-level math content resources paired with white boards will motivate students to practice content without feeling embarrassed or self-conscious!
