This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We want two tables built for our Art room that will fit on top of the chairs without damaging them. Since the floor is slanted, regular tables will not work. We have discussed this with the teacher who has carpentry skills already - to have our Work Readiness students help build the tables.

We are planning a field trip where our students collaborate with a career and technical education class at another high school to build the tables.

They can disassemble the tables and bring them back to WIHS, where our teachers can reassemble them with students!
