Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work in a dual immersion (Spanish/English) school. This means some students come in speaking English and some come in speaking Spanish. Instruction occurs in both languages so students graduate bilingual and bi-literate. My students are bilingual, which is amazing, but they are also kind, funny, and inquisitive.

I would love to be able to start a small Christmas store where my students can raise money.

Proceeds would go to supporting the families of our school who need more assistance. My students would be able to create custom gifts and sell them to other students.
