Cushions, Couches, and Care: A Healthier Space for Learning

My Project

In health class, we talk about topics that matter: mental health, physical wellness, emotions, relationships, and self-care. These discussions are powerful, but they require a safe, welcoming space where students can feel comfortable being themselves.

These items will turn a traditional classroom into a calming environment where students can relax, focus, and open up.

That’s why I’m asking for your help to transform our classroom with floor seat cushions, cozy couches, and soft floor lamps. When students feel physically comfortable, they are more engaged, more at ease, and more willing to participate in meaningful conversations.

Your support will give them more than furniture; it will give them comfort, dignity, and a sense of belonging. Thank you for believing in the power of a positive learning space!
