Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Being the school's interventionist requires me to see over 50 students a day in a small group setting. The students that I service normally are part of intervention groups for the whole school year. Making the classroom fun and inviting at times is challenging, but having fun ways of setting up learning groups can be exciting. Floor cushions will allow for breaking the routine of table learning and instead provide a closer/new way of learning together. Students enjoy new ways of learning and this entices interest to participate and try their best.
