My Project

The little learners in my class are 24 to 36 months old and attend a center-based, toddler class. The majority of the students on my caseload have developmental delays and a variety of abilities. All of my students are unique and amazing!

Some students in my class have a difficult time sitting in a standard, regular chair and I’d like to offer a variety of seating options to accommodate their special needs and unique characteristics.

Some of my students prefer to sit or kneel on the floor while playing and the Yes4All Extra Large Foam Balance Pads will provide extra cushion support for their sensitive knees and bottoms. The Lanstics Low Roller Seat Wheel Stool Chair, Lakeshore Scooter Board, and Bouncy Band Wiggle Seat will support students who want to be closer to the ground but also feel the urge to wiggle or roll around on the floor to help maintain their focus. The Lakeshore Classic Birch Transition Chair provides supportive sides, an arm rest, and adjustable safety belt which provides a more secure feeling.

By having a variety of flexible seating options, our classroom environment will be comfortable and functional for many lessons and hours of play time to come.
