My Project
Teaching cursive is exciting and a big step for third graders. However, it requires special writing paper so they can practice making the letters the correct way and size. It is hard to find notebooks with primary writing lines that are affordable.
I would love to provide each student with their own special cursive notebook.
This will allow us to dedicate a page to each letter as we learn them. They can continually refer back to it as they often need that reference when we start writing words and sentences. This will hopefully, allow them to not only learn the basics of cursive, but then we can start mastering those skills by writing stories and reflections in cursive. I would also love to be able to send these notebooks home with them to practice and share with parents.
