Curry Yoga Kids

My students need yoga picture books to have a better understanding before practicing poses. The yoga games will be fun for them after our yoga lessons. The aroma diffuser will help them focus and relax.

My Students

CES has approximately 550 students this year. It is a Title I School in Tempe, Arizona. The majority of the students either receive free or reduced lunch. The students face many challenges in their little lives. I try to make P.E. so much fun for them when they come. It is great to see them laugh and smile!!

The students love to experience new interesting lessons.

The students love music and movements, and games. P.E. is a great place to re-energize the brain and return to the classroom ready to focus on learning.

My Project

I cannot wait to begin a yoga lesson for my K-5 classes with one of these picture books. The students will be working on strength, relaxation, and flexibility on yoga mats. The aroma diffuser will be awesome for aiding in creating a peaceful environment for them.

The students will absolutely flip for the yoga games.

After they have learned the basic poses the class will be able to work in small groups to close with what we have already learned.

All grades (K-5) will reap the rewards with the books, games, and the humidifier. Thank you so much for this opportunity.
