Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal is to integrate hands-on learning resources that complement the new district-wide curriculum.

The resources listed will help create cross-curricular aligned hands-on materials that are imperative to enhance critical thinking for lower-income students.

Materials that foster creative expression, along with culturally relevant literature that reflects the diverse backgrounds of our students.

By incorporating these materials, we aim to create a more engaging and relatable learning experience that encourages participation, critical thinking, and a love for learning. More than an investment in materials; it's a commitment to fostering a holistic and adaptable learning environment that meets the needs of every student. By equipping our second-grade classroom with these resources, we are taking a significant step towards achieving educational equity and excellence within our Title One school.
