Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have a great class! I have parents who are willing to help them at home when needed. My first-grade students come from low-income families. All students receive free breakfast and lunch. For many of my students English is not their first language. I use many pictures to introduce and explain new vocabulary.
My classroom is also a technology-enriched environment with students who are eager to learn.
They are always excited to learn and I couldn't have asked for a better class!
My Project
This Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will allow me to purchase different types of materials. I will be able to buy activities that are engaging for students. Students are getting used to learning from school and they love to work on fun educational material.
This gift card will allow me to make learning even more exciting.
My students are so excited to be back full time and I would love to use some of the amazing work other teachers have created in my classroom. I would love to incorporate crafts into our curriculum and have a blast doing so!
