Help me give my students a wonderful current events magazine which covers topics from politics to science and everything in between. The articles help support vocabulary building as well as content knowledge needed for the history Regents exams.

My Project
My students have a range of interests and backgrounds. This year our focus in history will be on the ancient to medieval time period, however students learn best when making connections to today. Students are excited when they get their monthly magazine and want to discuss articles with each other. The NY Times Upfront magazine covers a variety of topics in a developmentally appropriate way while building their knowledge base. It is my belief that my students learn best with real print materials as well. The color photos, graphs etc. in this magazine appeal to my teen students.
