Help me give my students a print and digital subscription to Scholastic News.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Wilson's classroom raised $235
This project is fully funded
My Students
My class is a diverse group of fourth graders, from various backgrounds and with various experiences. They are eager to learn about the world in which they are growing up.
What I love most about them is their curiosity and excitement.
My Project
My students constantly come in and ask me if I've heard about/seen/watched the latest "current event" going on in the world. They request videos and time to research topics that interest them. Scholastic News magazines offer both a print and digital component that students love. The digital companion includes videos to go with the news articles, quiz games, debates, and much more.
Please help me engage my students in reading about high-interest current events in a magazine that they can take home as well as access complimenting resources online.
This subscription will last the entire school year, will integrate with our digital platform, and will be available for students to take home to use.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
