My Project
My students are starting fourth grade and they are excited about entering the world of upper elementary school. Their minds are curious about the world around them: social justice issues, environmental issues, culture, and current events. This subscription will allow each student to have a printed copy of the magazine. Having a copy of the magazine will allow each student to engage with the reading outside of school and internet access, share their reading with someone at home, and also scrapbook or save favorite articles. The magazine is a great way to share a variety of content. We will be studying current events, learning about our community and the world, practicing critical thinking, and students will be reading with their families.
