Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are inquisitive and they have the will to learn new things every day. Technology, math, science, and language skills are all exciting topics for them. Their excitement is contagious! The lack of resources makes it difficult for them to explore and be exposed to different experiences.
My Project
My students are very excited and curious to learn, but the lack of resources makes it challenging for them to stay engaged. For example, learning the letters in pre-k can be challenging but these colorful and different manipulatives make this skill engaging and fun. Students will be learning the alphabet as they play and interact with letters, picture matching, and playing bingo. They will also build letter recognition and knowledge by constructing and forming letters that will also develop their critical, problem solving, and fine motor skills.
