Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want to provide my students with engaging non-fiction books to use as an alternative to researching online. Students can practice hands-on research skills while improving their reading comprehension. These books will give English Learners access to texts at their reading level, helping them build vocabulary and confidence. Using non-fiction texts in the classroom allows students to develop critical thinking, make real-world connections, and stay focused without the distractions of digital devices. With these books, my students will have meaningful, accessible tools to grow as readers and researchers. My students and I would appreciate a generous funding of these books.
