My Project
My preschoolers are curious about the world around them. They are eager to learn and love reading. These young readers are learning how to find the front and back covers of books, how to find the first word in a text, and which direction to go when reading. They are discovering how to find the meaning of new vocabulary by examining pictures accompanying texts.
Clifford's "My Big World" will give my preschoolers the opportunity to practice pre-reading skills.
This non-fiction subscription magazine comes with two issues per month. There are real-world photos with text boxes to assist with directionality and order, as well as offering clarity to the photos. "My Big World" magazine also includes a learning activity, such as a picture hunt or a coloring page. Students will enjoy discovering new ideas and sharing what they learn with their peers.
