Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We need coffee machines, cups, coffee, and flavored syrups in order to start a Student Council coffee shop at our middle school to teach our children different life skills and life lessons outside the classroom. This will help our children to interact and learn to communicate with others. It will allow our students to have real, hands-on experiences dealing in customer service, money management, and job skills. Our students have been eager to run a store where they can earn money to help those in need. We thought adding a coffee element would be perfect!

Students will maintain, sell and manage money from the sales of the products at school in the morning to teachers/staff for less than the chain coffee stores, in order tor reach their charity goals.

The students will then be able to use the profits after they have figured out expenses to help families in need in our district, and also donate to larger charities.
