This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are attending a Title 1 Community School. Most are reading two to four grade levels behind their peers. My students deserve to be inspired by literature that they can relate to culturally! Please help them read in a cozy, safe and welcoming space! On of my biggest hopes for them is they will want to read in my newly designed reading corner. With a colorful rug, welcoming cozy chairs and books they can relate to! Please help me bring joy into the world of education through color, cultural and literature.
