My Students

My students are hard working, resilient, and full of pride. During these trying times with the changes of school and learning, our students have been working hard to adapt to the different expectations in school, having less opportunity for socialization, and experiencing difficulties in their everyday lives.

The "Culture and Climate Committee" has a goal of identifying areas in need of improvement or increased enthusiasm and finding ways to fix them.

The Committee sets up raffles, games, random acts of kindness, special activities for staff/students, etc. Our hope is to give students and staff something extra to look forward to when they are coming to school and work.

My Project

The items that will be donated can make a difference in the students' learning by making them excited and want to be involved in their classes and education as well as other school related activities.

With the "new normal" of learning and school, students are facing challenges and new feelings of having to learn on a computer, through facetime, and at home rather than in school.

We have noticed students being reluctant to participate and engage with teachers and peers during this time. We are hoping that with different programs and encouragement, we can show the students that they do not have to be shy or nervous but rather participate like they always would.
