My Project
I teach in a beautifully culturally diverse community and have a wonderful group of students ready to take on the challenges and joys of third grade.
My students are high achievers and deserve to have their culture, heritage, and interests represented in their classroom library and materials.
My goal is to represent authors of color, main characters of color, and various interests and topics in my classroom library as much as possible. The art supplies will help students know that they are valued by getting brand new art supplies that can help them visually show their identity. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will go towards activities, lessons, and games that follow my students' identities, passions, and needs.
