My Project
I am hoping to gain more culturally relevant books for my classroom library as well as a new laminator since mine has recently kicked the bucket. I already have copies of some of these books, but I will need an extra copy of each book in order to laminate and hang up each page on the walls of our hallway. I would like to fill the classroom and hallway with books that represent the students' unique backgrounds. I have had requests for Henry and Mudge from early readers. They like to take these books home to read with their parents. This in turn facilitates parental involvement. Thank you for your donations!
