My Students
My students go to school in a low, socio-economic, high poverty area. They are constantly facing many challenges both in school and at home. Despite the circumstances my students face, they are always ready and eager to learn.
My goal with these projects is to provide my students with opportunities and materials that they might not otherwise get.
The materials that are purchased through DonorsChoose is a huge help to my classroom and to my students.

My Project
I love providing my students with a variety of books to read. I want them to have books about all different topics and people. Books where they can see themselves in the stories and ones where they can learn about people who are different from them as well.
These multicultural books will be a great addition to my classroom library.
The books purchased through this project cover a wide range of cultures and topics that my students will enjoy for years to come.
