My Project
Cultural diversity is prevalent in our society and at my school, but my students still have a hard time understanding about other cultures and what their own identity is. I would love to add more culturally diverse books to my classroom library to start grand conversations with my students and give them the opportunity to share about their own culture and to see themselves and other in books.
Being able to see themselves in books gives students a sense of pride and belonging. Please help donate books that will help be a reflection and a mirror to these young students.
