Culturally Diverse Book Collection: Affirming Students' Identities

Help me give my students culturally diverse books that allow students to connect with stories that reflect their own background, language learning games to fostering a deeper understanding of language, and a small gift for each student.

My Project

My students come from a variety of culturally diverse backgrounds. The books, language games, and reward items will create a fun, inclusive environment. Students will use materials that they can personally relate to during Speech Therapy.

By incorporating literature representing my school's population, the students can better connect to the lessons and make personal applications.

They will enhance their language skills while building a connection with their heritage while learning to appreciate other cultures.

The language games and activities will create a fun environment where students feel comfortable and motivated to participate. These items will help validate my students' identities and provide them with a more relatable and engaging learning experience.
