Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As we approach Hispanic Heritage Month, we are excited to celebrate the rich and vibrant cultures that make up our school community. With 85% of our students being Hispanic Latino immigrants, this month offers a special opportunity to honor and highlight the beauty of their heritage.

To create a meaningful and engaging celebration, we have planned several exciting decorations and activities Flags Display: We will proudly showcase flags representing each student’s culture, creating a colorful and inclusive environment.Day of the Dead Decorations: We plan to use sugar skulls, papel picado, and tissue paper marigolds to honor this important tradition.

Balloon Arch: A vibrant and festive balloon arch will welcome everyone into the celebration.Educational Posters and bulletin board display: We will feature decorative and informative posters highlighting famous Hispanic figures and their contributions.This celebration will not only honor their heritage but also foster a greater sense of community and pride.
