My Students

Head Start is a non-profit organization that promotes school readiness of children under the age of 5 from low-income families through education, health, social and other services.

My students come from various socioeconomic backgrounds.

They have an immense thirst for knowledge. However, with Early childhood comes the need to learn and explore the world around them in a safe way.

My Project

I am asking for assistance in providing a few materials to aid in providing a neat and organized classroom for my kiddos to learn in. Storage baskets will also provide me the opportunity to provide each classroom center with pencil and paper, neatly.

My students will be exploring, investigating, and participating in hands-on activities that will help them to experience real-life applications.

My hope is to supply my students with art trays to do these activities and to explore more in-depth the world around them. They will learn so much through this type of activity that will strengthen not only their math, literacy and cognitive skills, but also help boost their curiosity in their own local community. There is so much to learn just in their own backyards!
