Cultivating Intentional Community Classroom Space For Learning Science and English
Help me give my students a lively, motivational, and creative learning environment featuring: a big home for Mr. Nubz, our 9-year-old emotional support bearded dragon, content posters, and tranquil decor. Let's provide students a home away from home!
After three rewarding years leading the College Connection program at Butte College, I'm excited to bring my expertise back to the Paradise High School campus this fall. This upcoming 2024-2025 school year, I'll be teaching a diverse range of classes including Physical Science, English 9, and English Intervention. Our classroom is a place where every student is valued and supported. I need some help cultivating a space for our learning that reflects this.
One beloved member of our classroom community is Mr. Nubz, our emotional-support bearded dragon, he plays a crucial role in creating a nurturing environment for our learners.
As a model organism, he offers companionship and provides opportunities for students to learn responsibility and empathy. Most of our fundraising goal is allocated towards Mr. Nubz's care and habitat. Ensuring his well-being is a top priority, as he positively impacts the emotional and social development of our students.
