My Project

Nothing builds compassion quite like seeing the world through another person's perspective.

To cultivate compassion in my classroom, I am requesting new books to add to our classroom library.

These books are from a variety of different perspectives, but they all encourage students to consider what life is like for others.

My students will read books from different perspectives and then collaborate to brainstorm plans for how to best help those they've learned about. I will measure their understanding of compassion by evaluating the plans they develop and the journals they complete throughout this process.
