My Project

I am planning a lesson on kindness, incorporating an art activity where students create pictures or self-portraits. I am requesting a donation of multicultural skin tone crayons, markers, and paint for my classroom.

By providing a diverse range of skin tone art supplies, we can empower our students to create artwork that reflects themselves and their classmates.

This simple act fosters a sense of belonging and inclusivity in the classroom.

Studies have shown that children benefit from seeing themselves represented in their learning materials. It can boost their self-esteem and confidence. This art activity and the lesson on kindness will create a positive, affirming, and compassionate space for all students.
