My Project
Ron Brown College Preparatory High School is home to an amazing group of intelligent, energetic and hardworking young kings. Our young kings have different opinions and experiences than students across the country because they mostly come from low-income neighborhoods. RBHS is the only all-male public high school in Washington, DC and serves predominately minority students.
Your generous donations can contribute towards providing calming and comfortable chairs as well as engaging fidget toys to promote a focus and productive atmosphere in our school.
The giant Uno and Connect 4 can be used as incentives on “Fun Fridays” when students complete all their work during the week. These items can make a differece in our learning environment because it can help multiple people work successfully, independently, and collectively without feeling uncomfortable or like they are learning in a single space in isolation.
Our goal is to make our learning environment more calming than stressful. These items will make us feel more comfortable in class and will encourage young kings to move out of their seats to a relaxed and peaceful space.
