This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students come from a variety of different backgrounds. I have families who move here with military background as well as students who are living in multifamily homes. A vast majority of my students come to school in need of basic supplies to get through the school year. I would like to be able to help those students with supplies but do not have the means on my own.
My students love to create and we do a lot of hands-on building in science class.
With a donation I would be able to get them the supplies they need to be creative and explore science through a whole new world.
My Project
These materials will go a long way with my students. It will give each student a place to learn creatively. Many students come to school not having the supplies needed. Each of these items including crayons and scissors will help students feel prepared in then class without feeling insecure about not having the right supplies. In science we do a lot of foldables and scientific drawings to help students learn concepts. With our foldables, students need to be able to cut, color, and tape their papers into notebooks that will be stored in the class and sent home. Thank you for helping students rock their learning.
