Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Please help me provide the needed items for my culinary class. The students in this class are in middle school and are at the beginning stage of learning to work in the kitchen. They also are learning to take on responsibility for cleaning up afterwards.
The goals for this project include helping students read and follow recipe cards, measure basic food ingredients, and prepare simple meals.
My school is a Title I school that services low-income families. My students, often, are responsible for younger siblings and would benefit from learning how to make simple meals to help out their families.
