This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school would love to create a sustainable robotics program. This program would promote team building and collaboration among all students. Robotics is not only the future it is also the present. Students need to learn how to build program and create.

We have a mix of students that come from different socioeconomic backgrounds.

Our school has students that would benefit from learning about robotics as we feed into a high school with a great engineering program.

My Project

Using CUE Robots in the classroom will help promote collaboration between students. Student will learn Social Emotional Skills on how to work together on a project by sharing the workload and how to compromise on a project. Wonder Workshop promotes the use of JAVA coding for its projects. The use of coding for a particular purpose meets all the Computer Science standards for the State of Nevada in Algorithms and Programming. Coding also touches on the NGSS Engineering standards as well as Math, ELA and ISTE standards for middle school students.
