My Project
Our school has the opportunity to gain a new member! We are currently in line to get a comfort dog (like a therapy dog) for the 2023-2024 school year. We are so excited! The dog will provide emotional, mental, and social support for the students . In addition, research has shown having a dog at school can improve attendance and motivation which helps with academic success as well as reading improvement. The organization will find the perfect dog for us, provide all the training, and help us prepare for this!
