My Students

Hello Friends! I teach inclusive Preschool in Lowell, MA.

My student population is made up of many cultures including 27 different countries and languages!

My students are beautiful children who are eager to learn! I help my students become a community through academics, social skills, language, music and hands-on learning!

My school is a Title I school located in the inner city that has over 100% of students receiving free breakfast and 87% of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch rate.

Therefore, my students do not have access to many experiences outside of the classroom.

Our school motto is, "Expect the Best!" which applies to both students and teachers too! Thank you for your help in providing the best for my students!

My Project

In Preschool students learn through play. We learn math, literacy and language skills by describing what we make. We develop motor skills by exploring and building with a variety of materials.

Let's help my students learn color words, patterning, counting, and how to build letters and numbers using Unifix cubes and linking cubes!

Students will have access to these materials at home during remote learning so the can practice pre-academic skills through Zoom with me. We can build our letter of the week, numbers and shapes with linking cubes, create patterns and compare sizes with unifix cubes, count sets of objects to match a numeral with both, and just build fun things using our imaginations!

By building, children are developing their fine motor skills and hand strength to then become better writers too! By describing their creations, naming their letters, numbers, and patterns, students are increasing their language and vocabulary as well. These are tools that will help develop a variety of Preschool skills. Thank you in advance for your help and support!
