My Project
Hi! I teach kindergarten autistic support in a brand new building. My classroom does not have cubbies or anything to hold student’s coats and materials from home. We are currently using laundry baskets to store students’ coats and backpacks.
With cubbies, my students could start to learn the important skills of putting away their belongings, pulling out their folders from home, and independently gathering their lunchboxes.
Cubbies would allow us to work on a lot of important skills that students should have the opportunity to learn. We would be able to increase independence and classroom safety and organization!
