Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Whether it be pencil boxes, headphones, books, fidgets or notes, students need their own individual "box" or space to store and set apart from others when not in use. The Mail organizer by Safeco will do just that: provide a separate, individual space for each of my students to be able to hold materials they use daily when not in use. My students have mailboxes where they sort, organize, and keep graded work. It keeps their items for their end of year portfolio safe and out-of-the-way. The mailboxes marvelously help to control and organize their classroom paperwork. How wonderful would it be for my students to have cubbies that do the same for their headphones, books, pencil boxes, and so on?
Some of my students have an individualized plan that allows for them to have fidgets for focused learning or self-regulating their emotions, such as jars of puddy or spinners and a space to hold it all when not in use will be so perfect.
How wonderful indeed and you can make it possible for my students to have a way to keep and organize their headphones, pencil pouches, and such!
