This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are a group of the smartest, little learners in my entire school! They come from different backgrounds; some ride the bus in from far away neighborhoods and some live across the street. We are a blended special education and bilingual classroom within a ninety percent free or reduced-price lunch within a school.
Pre-kindergarten is one of the most important grades in school.
It is the time when students get hooked on education. The best way to hook them is with adapted materials that will allow them to learn in an individualized way.
My Project
We recently received a new art center storage cabinet. Unfortunately, it did not come with cubbies and my students are having a hard time with putting things back where they belong.
My students would appreciate to get 15 storage cubbies to place into our new storage cabinet and finish our age-appropriate, fully independent art center.
Having access to these cubbies will allow my students independence and the ability to see all of the learning materials. The brush top bottles will help my students use glue and paint independently and focus on the art and not the clean up.
