My Project
My students deserve a classroom that helps them feel organized, valued, and ready to learn. Right now, we are missing a basic but essential resource: cubbies. We do not have enough storage space for every student to have their own place to keep their belongings. This makes it difficult for them to stay organized and take ownership of their space in the classroom.
With cubbies, each student would have a designated area for their personal items, like backpacks, folders, jackets, and lunchboxes.
Having their own space would not only help keep the classroom cleaner and more organized, but it would also help students feel more at home in our classroom. It gives them a sense of independence and responsibility.
Every day, I watch my students try to find places to stash their things- under desks, on shelves, or even sharing limited space with others. It creates clutter and distractions. These cubbies would be used daily and would help set the tone for a respectful, calm, and organized learning environment.
This project is about more than furniture, it’s about creating a classroom where every student has a space that belongs to them. With your support, we can bring order, ownership, and pride to our classroom community.
