This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In a Transitional Kindergarten classroom, students are taking their first steps in a structured school environment. While their excitement takes over, keeping backpacks organized can feel like a challenge. That's where cubbies come in – they play a crucial role in creating a smooth and successful TK experience!

Cubbies offer a designated spot for each child's backpack.

This fosters independence as TK students learn to put their belongings away on their own. Cubbies also promote a sense of ownership and responsibility. When children have a special place for their things, they're more likely to take care of them and keep the classroom tidy.

With cubbies, the classroom transforms from a backpack obstacle course into a calm and organized space. This reduces clutter and wasted time searching for misplaced items. By supporting cubbies for our TK classroom, you're not just giving backpacks a home, you're helping our littlest learners thrive!
