This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The printer, ink, and printer stand will make a difference in my students' lives because they will be able to type and print their final drafts to their writing, history, and science projects. In addition, they will be able to display their work for everyone to see: peers, staff, administration, and parents. We will be able to store different types of paper for them to use and the printer supplies such as ink in the printer stand and it will be a centralized location where they know they can grab writing and editing supplies while they work toward their final draft.

My students want to show their writing and research projects to others in the way they envisioned it.

It is disheartening to have to tell them we do not have a color printer to do so, especially after they have worked so hard to write an essay.

I want to have a printer station available for them to print their work for display in the hallways and classroom.
