This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach a total of 25 high school students. I love that the students have become more engaged into the program. They love taking part in being leaders in the classroom and participating in different scenarios. I like that they are thinking deeper and asking more questions or simply just bringing in real world events as we discuss different topics.
We recently conducted a community service project at the local head start to present fire safety tips to preschoolers.
My students were proud of themselves for carrying out the event. I saw great leadership and hands on skills with the students.
My Project
My students will be learning more about how to work a crime scene. The students are ready to take part in this experiment. They often discuss things they have seen on tv or read. However, I want to give them a more hands on experience of working a crime scene.
The supplies will help the students to further discuss methods used for evidence recovery.
All students will be exposed to the learning material and observed in demonstrating the steps in working a crime scene. This will allow the students to be able to process the information better as they take part in this activity.
