My Project

My 7th grade math students are energetic and curious students who enjoy having fun while learning. I'm requesting these materials to give my math students a CSI themed classroom transformation. Classroom transformations are a way to boost student engagement and get them excited about the content. Classroom transformations are anything that turns a classroom into a new and exciting learning environment for a day. I will create content around mathematics that fit the CSI theme where students try to investigate a mystery by analyzing evidence and applying their problem-solving skills. The items for this project are props to make the CSI themed classroom seem more realistic including differentiated "crime scenes" that will be set up in the classroom. Students will also learn about how to become a real-life criminal investigator.
